HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

A TRIBUTE TO MOTHER'S

Mother's belong to an elite group.
There's no one quite like a Mother.
Fierce in her protection of loved ones.
Yet, gentle as an evening breeze
In caring for her little ones.

Stronger than Hercules in standing for
Right and wrong,
Truth and light.
Yet, so very humble in accepting well-deserved praise
For the work she is doing
Molding the future generation.

Tireless in her pursuit of caring and nuturing
Those tender children entrusted to her.
Invincible she seems,
Never thinking of herself,
No sacrifice too great.

Oh, how quickly the years pass
And, all too soon,
Roles have become reversed
As her children now care for her.

Nurturing, caring, lifting and strengthening
The One
Who gave so freely
Of all she had.

Mother's!
Always there,
Always encouraging,
Always loving,
No matter the circumstances...
Until one day
God calls his precious daughter home.

Then, and perhaps only then,
Does one realize
How blessed they were
To have had such a Mother
As the one God blessed them with.

Today I pay tribute to my Mother,
Nina Mary Davis Kohler.

Mother has now been gone a little over 2 1/2 years.  At
times it seems like just like yesterday we were saying
goodbye.  And at other times, it seems like she's been
gone forever.  How grateful I am to have had such a
loving and caring Mother.

She has always been my hero, always positive and upbeat
even when she didn't feel well.  She never complained
and always expressed gratitude and thanks for help she
received.  Keeping busy was a must, even when her
eyesight began to fail her, she still continued to do handwork.

She has been my example these past couple of years as I have struggled with cancer.  Recognizing her strengths, example, patience, and endurance have
lifted me and pulled me through many, many times.

My motto is "If she could do it, so can I".

Thank you, Mother!

Mother loved her daughters and grandchildren.  She truly cherished those moments of togetherness.

"A Mother lives in the hearts of her children forever."

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mothers and future Mothers!
